Romano Oblinovic was the hero for Koper with a 73rd-minute winner to move his side two points clear of NK Olimpija Ljubljana at the summit.

Second-half treble
Olimpija themselves won 3-0 against third-placed NK Dravograd to keep the pressure on Koper. The Ljubljana side secored all three of their goals in a 16-minute second-half spell to stay within two points of the leaders, Anton Zlogar's double added to by Dusan Kosic.

Win for Ljubljana
NK Ljubljana won only their second league game of the season when they beat NK Maribor 2-0. Marko Kmetec put them on their way in the 41st minute, and Drazen Zezelj completed the scoring nine minutes from time.

Mura surge
Elswhere, NK Mura moved from the bottom of the table by winning 5-0 against NK Gorica, NK Primorje lost 3-1 to NK Publikum and NK Šmartno secured a 3-1 victory at home to NK Rudar Velenje.
