Richard Nuñez completed the rout to give Grasshoppers their sixth consecutive league win. The club have now equalled their own 1967 record for straight Nationalliga wins.

Champions on song
Elsewhere, defending champions FC Basel also impressed with their 4-2 win against Servette FC, leapfrogging their opponents into third place in the standings. Marco Zwyssig opened the scoring with a header, before Christian Gimenez and Hakan Yakin successfully converted from the penalty spot. Antonio Esposito scored Basel's fourth from distance, while Alexander Frei and Alain Gaspoz scored for Servette.

Delémont impress
Newly promoted SR Delémont continued their fine form, beating Neuchâtel Xamax FC thanks to Samuel Ojongo's 83rd-minute goal.

Victory for Zürich
Sunday's action saw FC Zürich claim a valuable 1-0 away victory against FC Wil 1900, while FC Thun heaped more misery on struggling FC Luzern with a 3-1 home win.

Gygax strike
Former Swiss Under-21 international Daniel Gygax scored after 16 minutes to seal victory for Zürich and move his side into second place.

Second win for Thun
Yao Aziawonu put Thun ahead nine minutes in, and although Andre Muff equalised for Luzern two minutes after the break, a double strike from Milaim Rama wrapped up the home side's second win of the season.
