Sergei Osipov missed a penalty for FC Zenit St. Peterburg as they lost 2-1 against FC Dinamo Moskva.

Sergei Osipov missed a last-minute penalty for FC Zenit St. Peterburg as ten-man FC Dinamo Moskva held on for a 2-1 away win tonight in the Russian Premier League.

Koroman opener
The home side had gone behind in the 28th minute when Ognien Koroman's shot beat Viacheslav Malafeev. Zenit were almost level three minutes later when Dzhambulat Bazaev set up fellow debutant Daniel Chirita, but the Romanian defender's strike rebounded back off the crossbar.

Diatel goal
Dinamo looked to have made the game safe in the 72nd minute when Andrei Diatel put the capital club 2-0 up. But three minutes later, Dzhambulat Bazaev gave Zenit hope with a 20-metre shot that reduced the deficit.

Missed penalty
Their cause was helped even further when Dinamo's Alexander Panov was sent off for a second yellow card. Zenit then had a golden opportunity to equalise at the death when Vladimir Bystrov was brought down in the area, but Osipov's spot-kick was parried by Roman Berezovsky.
