Dutch club RKC Waalwijk have signed Russian international defender Yuri Nikiforov from Eredivisie rivals PSV Eindhoven.
Regular football
The 31-year-old did not feature regularly for PSV last season, and will aim to restart his domestic career with the side that finished eighth in 2001/02 - six places below the UEFA Champions League-bound Eindoven team.
World Cup campaign
Nikiforov joined PSV in 1998 from Spanish club Sporting Gijón, and featured in all three of Russia's matches in the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals.
