FC Saturn Moscow Region missed their chance to close the gap on the leading clubs in the Russian Premier-Liga as they were held to a 1-1 draw at FC Dinamo Moscow.
Kharlachyov equaliser
Saturn dominated the early exchanges and took a ninth-minute lead when Aleksej Medvedev collected Omer Eldic's pass before applying a cool finish. However, former Russian international Yevgeny Kharlachyov equalised with a fine solo effort with 17 minutes remaining.
Big three
Saturn, who are chasing the big three Moscow clubs - FC Lokomotiv Moscow, PFC CSKA Moscow and FC Spartak Moscow - stay fourth with 29 points from 17 games, while Dinamo remain sixth on 26 points.
Kachuro double
Elsewhere, FC Sokol Saratov earned only their second win of the season by beating FC Uralan Elista 2-0 at home. Belarussian debutant Petr Kachuro was the hero for Sokol, scoring both goals, but his side remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the table with eleven points.
