Krylya Sovetov Samara have signed Belarussian striker Vitalij Bulyga from FC Dnepr-Transmash Mogilev.
Six goals
The 22-year-old has shone in the Belarussian first division this season scoring six goals in 13 games and providing a further six assists. With six goals in 12 games for the Belarussian Under-21 national side, Krylya will have high hopes for Bulyga as they continue their UEFA Intertoto Cup campaign.
Warm welcome
Bulyga says he has received a warm welcome in Samara since leaving his hometown club in Mogilev. Having played at Dnepr since 1996, Krylya coach Aleksandr Tarkhanov is hoping that the young striker will adapt to life at his new club having signed a four-year contract at the Metallurg stadium.
Yaskovich heads west
Meanwhile, another well-respected Belarussian footballer, defender Sergej Yaskovich, has also elected to move abroad after agreeing a one-year deal with French lower league side Olympique d'Alès en Cévennes. The 30-year-old formerly played for Anzhi Makhachkala and has won 18 caps for the Belarus national side.
