Bolivian international striker Jose Alfredo Castillo has moved to Primera División club Real Valladolid on a one-year, €150,000 loan deal from Oriente Petrolero.
'Nothing else to win here'
The prolific goalscorer, 19, had threatened to retire if the Bolivian side did not allow him to make the move across the Atlantic. He scored 44 goals for Oriente last year and has already notched up another 24 in the first half of this season. "I have nothing else to win here," he said.
Tahuichi Aguilera academy
Already an international, he is a product of the renowned Tahuichi Aguilera youth academy. It is understood that neither Oriente nor Tahuichi, who both held an interest in Castillo's contract, were happy with the offer from Valladolid. He will join compatriot Juan Peña at the Spanish first division club.
