English midfield player Vinny Samways has ended his six-year stay at UD Las Palmas by joining their former Primera División rivals Sevilla FC.
Never too old
Samways left the side, who were relegated last season, after the expiry of his contract. The 33-year-old former Everton FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC player said: "My aim is to play as many matches as possible for Sevilla. In football there are still many footballers of 35 and 36 playing and they are in good form."
Fourth signing
He becomes Sevilla's fourth close-season signing after the addition of former Real Zaragoza midfield player Marcos Vales, Elche FC's Juan Redondo and UE Figueres goalkeeper Juan Carlos Caballero.
