Former Romanian international Tibor Selymes has signed for Debreceni VSC.

Two-year deal
The left-sided player, who won 46 international caps, has signed a two-year contract with the Hungarian club. The former FC Dinamo Bucuresti and RSC Anderlecht player moved from Cercle Brugge KSV to Hungary in 2001 and is now a naturalised citizen there. Last season he was at relegated side Haladás VSC.

Big signings
Lázár Szentes, who was the coach of Haladás, moved to Debreceni over the summer break and brought the 32-year-old Selymes with him. Szentes said: "We will strengthen the team with good transfers." And he has been as good as his word, bringing in Hungarian international midfield player Tamás Sándor from Beitar Jerusalem, Brazilian defender Flavio Pim from Haladás and Vincze Gábor from MFC Sopron.
