Trabzonspor and Turkey striker Hami Mandirali has signed a one-year contract with 1. Lig rivals MKE Ankaragücü after being released by the Trabzon-based club at the end of last season.
'I hope for the best'
"My past and my future performance are a guarantee for Ankaragücü. I hope for the best at my new club. Ankaragücü have a strong structure and system and I have come to integrate into this structure," Hami said.
219 first-division goals
The 34-year-old veteran has scored 219 Turkish first division goals as well as eight in 49 internationals for his country. Trabzonspor's most famous striker ended his 15-year association with the club when he was released by new coach Samet Aybaba in May. Hami also spent one season abroad with 1. Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04 in 1998/99.
