Newly promoted SV Pasching have snapped up striker Edi Glieder from crisis-hit champions FC Tirol Innsbruck.
Player exodus
Tirol's parlous financial position has seen them demoted to the Austrian third division and they are now facing a player exodus. By contrast, Pasching have enjoyed a meteoric rise through the Austrian league, having climbed to the top flight just six years after playing football in division five.
Top scorer
Glieder, 33, was the Austrian Bundesliga's top scorer in the 1998/99 season and has five international caps. Pasching, meanwhile, have offloaded defender Andrzej Lesiak and striker Ibrahim Sidibe to local rivals SV Ried.
