Members

Leaders Torpedo-MAZ Minsk could only manage a draw with FC Dnepr-Transmash Mogilev.

Leaders Torpedo-MAZ Minsk were held to a 0-0 draw with mid-table FC Dnepr-Transmash Mogilev, in the Belarussian first division today, however, their nearest rivals FC BATE Borisov, failed to take advantage, losing at home to third-placed FC Gomel.

Karsakov winner
Most of the day's attention focussed on the Borisov-Gomel match, which was a replay of the recent Belarussian Cup final. Sadly for Borisov's league ambitions, the end result was the same as Dmitri Karsakov popped up three minutes before half-time to score the game's only goal for Gomel.

First league defeat
The defeat was Borisov's first in the league and means they now drop a place and are four points adrift of Torpedo and a point behind Gomel.

Fantastic comeback
The game of the round saw FC Belshina Bobruisk win 3-2 at FC Molodechno 2000, with Valeriy Stripeikis scoring twice and setting up the third as his team came from 2-0 down.

Lokomotiv off the mark
Lokomotiv-96 Vitebsk finally ended their winless start to the season, and did it by prolonging the misery of FC Slavia Mozyr. Neither team had won before this match, and late goals from Artem Kosak (87) and Vitali Deikalo (90) left Mozyr rooted to the bottom.

Brest beaten
In the day's other matches, FC Torpedo Zhodino beat FC Dinamo Brest 2-1 and Shakhtior Soligorsk won 1-0 at home against FC Dinamo Minsk.
