Ostojic joins Kula

Miroljub Ostojic has been named as the new coach of the Yugoslav first division side FK Hajduk Kula after the former coach Slevnko Kuzeljevic failed to agree terms with the club over a contract extension.

Long-term plan
Ostojic has coached FK Obilic and FK Crvena Zvezda in Yugoslavia and last season he was coach of Chinese side Shanghai. "I have come to a serious and stable top division club. Our immediate goal is to remain in a stable position in the table next season and look for our chances in the European competitions in two years. I will give the chance only to younger players who are the future of the club."

'The best coach'
"We have signed the best coach. We believe in Ostojic and our youth system. Very soon we will be playing in Europe," Aleksandar Vaskalic, the Hajduk general secretary, said.
