All change in F.Y.R. Macedonia

Three Macedonian Premier League clubs have made coaching changes.

Three Macedonian Premier League clubs have made coaching changes following the end of the 2001/02 Prva Fudbalska Liga season.

Surprise move
Mirsad Jonuz has resigned as coach of Macedonian Cup winners FK Pobeda in a surprise move following the club's refusal to agree to his contract demands. The other two changes occurred at FK Sileks and FK Rabotnicki, but both were expected.

'Best of luck'
"We could not reach an agreement over future collaboration, so I am leaving," Jonuz said after ending his spell at Pobeda. "I am at least happy that under my leadership the club won its first trophy. I wish the club the best of luck in the UEFA Cup." Pobeda had defeated FK Cementarnica 55 3-1 last month to win the first trophy in the club's history.

Mitevski steps up
Lazar Plackov has left Sileks after only taking charge of the team at the start of the spring season. He has been replaced by Momcilo Mitevski, who was already with the club in a coaching capacity last season. Rabotnicki's Ilija Dimovski has decided not to extend his one-year contract, but a new coach has not been named yet.
