FK Rad's faint UEFA Cup hopes were dealt a blow with a 2-1 defeat against FK Zemun on Friday evening.

Up against it
Rad needed a win at the Gradski stadium and for other results to go their way if they were to make up the six-point gap on FK Obilic and FK Sartid, in third and fourth respectively. They were up against it after just 15 minutes, when they were two goals down.

Relegation worries
Igor Matic put Zemun ahead after five minutes and Ilija Stolica doubled the lead ten minutes later. Jane Galalovski hit a consolation for the visitors 20 minutes into the second half. However, Zemun remain deep in relegation trouble. With just four games to play, they are a point adrift of safety in a league where the bottom six teams all go down due to the league's restructuring.
