Londo gets historic goal
Ingelmunster took a 20th-minute lead through Luc Feys, but Thomas Herman and Dieudonne Londo struck for Mons to take them up to the top flight for the first time in their 97-year history.
Stadium improvements
There they join second division champions KV Mechelen, who bounced back a year after relegation. Mons are now ready to undergo work on their Tondreau stadium ahead of what for them will be a historic 2002/03 season.
