The race for the Georgian title will go down to the wire after some dramatic results on Saturday.

Dramatic finale
League leaders FC Torpedo Kutaisi will now go into their final-day clash with second-placed FC Dinamo Tbilisi with a one-point advantage, but should the two sides draw, third-placed FC Lokomotiv Tbilisi could make a dramatic late charge for the title by winning at home against FC Dinamo Batumi.

Ten goals
In Saturday's championship group games, Kutaisi won 1-0 against Batumi at the Central stadium thanks to Andrei Poroshin's 60th-minute penalty, but Dinamo had a rather more impressive day, winning 10-0 against local rivals FC Merani-91 Tbilisi. Hat-tricks for Lado Burduli and Vitali Daraselia were the highlight of a prolific performance as the hosts raced into a 5-0 lead at the break. Dinamo have yet to concede a goal in their nine play-off matches, winning eight games and drawing one.

Two for Davitashvili
Lokomotiv remain level on points with Dinamo after a 3-1 victory at FC Kolkheti-1913 Poti. Two first-half goals from Suliko Davitashvili and one for Zaza Janashia had the visitors in command before Hamlet Tsivtsivadze scored an 85th-minute consolation from the penalty spot.

Joy for Sioni
In the relegation play-offs, FC Sioni Bolnisi helped themselves to a 3-1 victory at FC Guria Lanchkhuti. Juri Gabiskiria's fifth-minute goal and one in each half for Shalva Isiani set up the win with David Naroushvili responding for the hosts ten minutes from time. Elsewhere, FC Samgurali Tskaltubo and FC Gorda Rustavi played out a goalless draw as did FC WIT Georgia Tbilisi and FC Metalurgi Zestaponi.
