Impressive performer
The 24-year-old was an impressive performer for LOSC in their first appearance in the UEFA Champions League this season. He also helped the club reach fifth place in Le Championnat and was interesting anumber of Europe's leading sides.

Join in July
"We have reached an agreement with the club and the player for the transfer," Liverpool confirmed on their official website today. "Bruno Cheyrou will join us officially on 1 July."

Started at Lens
Cheyrou started his professional career with RC Lens, but had a difficult time establishing himself. He moved on to Paris Racing CF 92 before being discovered by LOSC coach Vahid Halilhodzic, moving to the Grimonpres-Jooris stadium in 1997.

Plenty of goals
As well as being a creative force for LOSC, Cheyrou has weighed in with his fair share of goals. In the 2001/02 campaign, he scored eleven goals in 27 Le Championnat matches, and hit three goals in six Champions League outings. LOSC have already started to rebuild for next season, signing Marc-Antoine Fortuné from third division club AS Angoulême-Charente.
