NK Varteks striker Sasa Bjelanovic has joined promoted Italian second division side Como Calcio for a fee of €2.4m, it was announced today.

Officials from the Prva HNL club, who will be playing in next season's UEFA Cup, also revealed that the transfer between the two clubs was a record for Varteks
'New facilities'
"Yes, it's even bigger than the transfer of Davor Vugrinec to Trabzonspor. This money will be an essential part of building new facilities for our youth football school," said club president Davor Darabos.
