F.Y.R. Macedonia round-up: Vardar still waiting

Prva Fudbalska Liga leaders FK Vardar were held to a 1-1 draw by second-placed FK Belasica GC at the City stadium on Saturday.

Missed chance
Victory would have clinched the title for the Skopje side, but when Zoran Baldovaliev put the visitors ahead after six minutes, Trajce Gjorgjiev's team faced an uphill task.

One-point lead
Aleksander Bajevski's equaliser on the 15 minute mark maintained Vardar's one-point lead at the top with one round of matches remaining.

Cementarnica too strong
Elsewhere, two second-half goals helped FK Cementarnica 55 to a 3-1 victory over FK Sloga Jugomagnat and FK Rabotnicki shared four goals with FK Pobeda.

Osogovo rooted
In the relegation play-offs, FK Osogovo remain bottom after losing 2-0 at home to FK Makedonija Skopje, FK Pelister beat FK Sileks 3-1 and goals from Goce Tolevski, Vasko Georgiev and Boris Angeleski gave FK Napredok a 3-0 win over FK Kumanovo.
