FK Vardar remain on course for the Prva Fudbalska Liga title after beating FK Pobeda 2-1 in a scrappy encounter in the championship play-off group on Sunday.
Panov opener
Both sides hit the woodwork during the first half, but it was ten minutes into the second half before Angel Panov broke the deadlock for Vardar with the opening goal. Dejan Ristevski doubled their lead seven minutes from time with a speculative shot from all of 35 metres that caught Pobeda's goalkeeper off his line.
Belasica in charge
Pobeda pulled one back through their Brazilian striker Gislon Da Silva three minutes later, but Vardar hung on and stay a point clear of second-placed FK Belasica GC, who won 2-0 at FK Sloga Jugomagnat. Pance Stojanov and Zoran Baldovaliev scored the goals.
Five-star Cementarnica
FK Cementarnica 55 beat FK Rabotnicki 5-0 with Feim Beganovic scoring two, and Vlatko Grozdanovski, Riste Naumov and Filip Despotovski adding the others. In the Relegation Group, FK Sileks beat the leaders FK Napredok 3-2 to replace them at the top of the table.
Angeleski double
Borce Postolov scored twice and Dejan Koskarov once, as Sileks took a 3-0 lead but Boris Angeleski scored twice in the final seven minutes to set up a nervy final few minutes for the home fans. FK Makedonija In the day's other matches, Skopje scored a surprise 4-1 win over FK Kumanovo, while FK Osogovo and FK Pelister drew 1-1.
