Ferencvárosi TC closed the gap on second-placed Zalaegerszegi TE to four points with a 1-0 victory at Dunaferr SE in the NB. 1.

Ground redevelopment
Dunaferr had to host the game at Stadler FC's stadium because their home ground, Ezsperantó utca, is being redeveloped. Hungarian international striker Zoltán Gera showed great skill for the winning goal, leaving two defenders in his wake before drilling the ball in from ten metres.

Leaders beaten
MTK Hungária FC remain top, five-points clear of Zalaegerszeg, despite going down 2-0 at Újpesti TE. The hosts went ahead in the 35th minute, when Dalibor Skoric put through his own net, and Újpest's Lubos Kozel made the game safe with a second goal on the hour.

Victory for Videoton
Videoton FCF were the day's biggest victors, breezing past Vasas SC 4-1 at the Sóstói stadium. They went ahead through Predrag Gajic and Hungarian international midfield player Zsolt Dvéri made it 2-0 just before the break. Norbert Tóth's 66th-minute penalty gave the visitors hope, but Balázs Tóth (67) and Dvéri (79) again added two more to make it 4-1.
