FK Partizan lost for the second time this season on Wednesday as FK Zeta took the points.

Runaway league leaders FK Partizan lost for only the second time this season today as FK Zeta took the points in a 3-1 victory in Golubovci.

Surprise win
Goals from Marko Colakovic, Bojan Brnovic and Malesija Vojvoda sealed the points for mid-table Zeta. Zeta were ahead as early as the ninth minute when Colakovic's deflected shot found the net to send the home fans into a frenzy. Partizan huffed and puffed but failed to break through the home side's defence, and their hopes of winning the match disappeared after the sending off of skipper Sasa Ilic in 69th minute after he collected two yellow cards.

Becanovic consolation
Zeta were 2-0 ahead just a minute later, Brnovic latching on to a long ball and firing past the visiting goalkeeper. Partizan were in disarray and the match was killed off five minutes later when Vojvoda netted after a swift counterattack. Miladin Becanovic headed in a last-minute consolation for Partizan but it did little to quell the celebrations of the home fans.

Crvena Zvezda close gap
Partizan now head the Prva Savezna Liga by six points after FK Crvena Zvezda took advantage of the leaders' slip-up, beating FK Obilic 2-1 in Belgrade. Dragan Bogavac benefited from some hesitant defending from the visitors as a long ball was lifted towards the penalty area, the forward controlling the ball before thumping it in for the opener.

Bogavac winner
Crvena Zvezda dominated for long periods as Obilic sat back to hit on the counter and the hosts were punished five minutes from time when Nikola Vujosevic headed in the equaliser. Bogavac then found Vidak Bratic, who netted a deserved winner to send the 10,000 fans packed inside the FK Crvena Zvezda stadium home happy.

Kragujevac in trouble
At the bottom of the table FK Cukaricki's participation in the top flight looks secure after Marinko Petkovic's first-half goal gave them a 1-0 home win over FK Sutjeska. Life is becoming increasingly difficult for FK Radnicki Kragujevac, however, after they slipped to a 1-0 defeat at FK Zeleznik. Dalibor Pesterac scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of half-time to condemn the second-bottom side to their 12th defeat of the season.

Apatin lose again
Basement club FK Mladost Apatin are already preparing for the drop after yet another defeat - 1-0 at home by FK Vojvodina - left them eight points adrift of Radnicki. In the day's other matches, FK Hajduk Kula moved to within seven points of fourth-placed FK Sartid with a 3-1 away victory at FK Zemun, while FK Rudar Plevlja and FK Mladost Lucani played out a goalless draw.
