NK Široki Brijeg were the main beneficiaries as the leaders lost today.

Široki take advantage
Široki's 1-0 victory over NK Iskra allowed them to jump into second place in the table after the top two both suffered surprise defeats. Mario Kovacevic's 19th-minute strike against the second-bottom team put his side within seven points of leaders FK Zeljeznicar.

Zeljeznicar stumble
The top side lost 2-0 at 12th-placed FK Velez. Samir Cemalovic gave his team a half-time lead with a goal after 14 minutes and Admir Velagic doubled their advantage seven minutes after the interval.

Brotnjo miss out
The result presented NK Brotnjo with the chance to close the gap on the leaders but instead they found themselves overtaken by Široki and FK Sarajevo. NK Orašje's Ivo Pejic scored a 76th-minute penalty and Luka Brasnic clinched victory two minutes from time to lift his side to fifth, level on 33 points with Brotnjo but with an inferior goal difference.

Sarajevo go third
Sarajevo moved into third place with a 4-0 victory over city neighbours NK Olimpik Sarajevo. Edin Pehlic, in the eighth minute, and Mirza Mesic (36) put the home side into a comfortable lead and five minutes after the break Almir Janjos made it 3-0. Edin Saranovic wrapped up the scoring in the 72nd minute.

Joy for Sloboda
FK Sloboda Tuzla's 3-0 victory against NK Jedinstvo allowed them to leapfrog their rivals. After five minutes Adnan Sarajlic opened the scoring and just before half-time Tarik Okanovic made it 2-0. The same player added a third eight minutes after the break.
