Bosnia-Herzegovnian Premier League leaders FK Zeljeznicar continued to their march towards the title with a 3-0 home victory over bottom club NK Iskra on Sunday.
Biscevic impresses
But the hosts were made to fight all the way for the points as the relegation favourites held out until the 59th minute, when Jure Guvo converted Sead Seferovic's pass. Ivica Huljev made the game safe with 12 minutes remaining, netting from the penalty spot after the impressive Bulent Biscevic had been felled in the area. And Huljev grabbed his second with a superb solo effort in the 87th minute.
Coric seals Brontjo win
NK Brotnjo left it late to beat NK Troglav as Elvis Coric headed the winner three minutes into injury time. Coric had been on hand ten minutes into the second half to haul his side level after the visitors had opened the scoring through Denis Mudrinic with just four minutes on the clock.
Sarajevo held
Edin Pehlic earned FK Sarajevo a share of the spoils after latching on to a mistake in the HŠK Zrinjski defence. Pehlic slotted in the equaliser with 13 minutes remaining after the home side had opened the scoring in the 29th minute through Armando Marenci.
Široki keep pace
In the day's evening match, NK Široki Brijeg maintained a seven-point gap between themselves and the leaders with a 3-1 victory at home to NK Grude. The hosts were never in trouble and broke the deadlock in the 28th-minute thanks to a free-kick by Mirko Hrgovcic. Nikola Juricic doubled their advantage six minutes later when he nodded in Mate Lovrekovic's cross and added his second goal of the game 14 minutes from the end. Mate Grubisic scored a consolation two minutes later for the visitors from another free-kick.
