Article body
NK Široki Brijeg missed their chance to challenge the leaders with today's 1-1 draw against FK Sloboda Tuzla.
Široki thwarted
Having failed to break the deadlock before half-time, Ante Hrgovic put Široki ahead four minutes after the break to give them hope of cutting FK Zeljeznicar's lead at the top of the table, but Suad Cickusic equalised for the home side 19 minutes from the end. The draw lifts Siroki to 40 points, but that is still six behind the leaders and Zeljeznicar also have a match in hand.
Sarajevo held
FK Sarajevo maintained stay in third but they did not take advantage of Široki's failure to win despite two goals from Smajo Mahmutovic against NK Celik. Asmir Ikanovic gave the visitors an eighth-minute lead but two Mahmutovic penalties in eight second-half minutes appeared to have put Sarajevo in control. However, Anes Zukic produced an equaliser 20 minutes from the end and the home side could not find another goal for the winner.
Orašje overcome Bosna
The pressure from below increased as NK Orašje overcame strugglers NK Bosna with a 15-minute second-half goal spree. Having failed to break down the visitors for more than an hour, Ivan Babic struck in the 65th and 70th minutes. Velimir Brasnic made it 3-0 ten minutes from time .
No joy for Iskra
Bottom club NK Iskra took a surprise sixth-minute lead against NK Velez, but their joy was not to last as Nedim Jusufbegovic equalised four minutes later and then scored the winner midway through the second half.
