FK Zeljeznicar's title hopes took a knock as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at NK Orašje today.
Two-minute double
Two goals in the space of two first half minutes from Velimir Brasnic and Slaven Damjanovic proved enough to seal all three points for the home side. Brasnic clipped home the opener after 30 minutes and Damjanovic added a second two minutes later to put Orašje firmly in control.
Grandstand finish
Zeljeznicar, the league leaders, battled their way back into the match and Sead Seferovic's 73rd-minute strike set up a grandstand finish but the home side held firm for the win. Zeljeznicar remain seven points clear of second-placed NK Široki Brijeg, who travel to NK Troglav tomorrow.
Sarajevo triumphant
Third-placed FK Sarajevo moved to within three points of Široki after recording a 3-1 home win against NK Jedinstvo. Goals from Edin Saranovic (15), Mirza Varesanovic (73) and Edin Saranovic (78) gave the home side a comfortable advantage before Damir Mujadzic hit a late consolation two minutes from time for the visitors.
Joy for Celik
NK Celik needed three goals in the final ten minutes to defeat a resilient NK Olimpik Sarajevo 3-0. Senad Brkic (81), Asmir Ikanovic (87) and Muhamed Hasanspahic (90) were the men on target. Elsewhere, FK Sloboda Tuzla defeated FK Velez 2-0 at home courtesy of a double strike from Tarik Okanovic.
