Guardiola on the spot
Inter trailed to a first-half Josep Guardiola penalty at the San Siro stadium until Ronaldo equalised eleven minutes from time and then struck the winner four minutes later with a wonderful 20-metre drive.

Bologna FC's Champions League hopes suffered a massive blow with a shock 2-1 home defeat to Piacenza FC, while Jose Franco cancelled out Daniele Berretta's strike as Atalanta BC drew 1-1 with Torino Calcio.
Valuable Verona victory
Hellas-Verona FC earned a valubale three points in their relegation battle against Udinese Calcio as Mario Frick grabbed the only goal by tapping in a mis-hit Mauro Camoranesi effort from close range on 33 minutes. Davide Baiocco opened the scoring in AC Perugia's 2-0 win at AC Venezia, before turning provider for Fabio Bazzani to condemn the already relegated Venice side to another defeat.
