Ceda Djoincevic has taken up his third coaching post of the season at FK Vojvodina.
Off to Novi Sad
The 43-year-old coach has already been in charge of FK Rad and FK Mladost Apatin this season, and has now signed a contract which will keep him at the fifth-placed Novi Sad side until June 2003.
'Yugoslavia's third club'
"This is the third call from Vojvodina, and I could not turn it down," he said. "After FK Crvena Zvezda and FK Partizan, they are Yugoslavia's third club. My goal is to reach third place in the table and so qualify for the UEFA Intertoto Cup."
Straight back to Rad
Djoincevic's first opponents will be Rad, the club he had managed back in the autumn, but the coach has no complaints. "Yes, such are the circumstances - I will play against Rad again," he said. "I should already have sat on the bench against Crvena Zvezda, but we wanted to be correct towards Mladost."
