FK Partizan extended their lead in the 1st Liga with a 4-0 win against FK Mladost Apatin on Saturday.
Over by the break
Partizan were rarely troubled by Apatin who lie five points adrift at the foot of the table. The game was over by the break as the hosts raced into a three-goal lead, Vladimir Ivic crossing for Danko Lazovic to score the first after eight minutes.
Comprehensive victory
Ivic was on the scoresheet 18 minutes later with a well-struck free-kick and Sasa Ilic sliced through the Apatin defence to set up Miladin Becanovic two minutes before half-time. Becanovic added the fourth just after the hour mark.
Frustration for Crvena Zvezda
The Belgrade side are now four points clear at the top of the Yugoslav first division since their main challengers FK Crvena Zvezda could only draw 0-0 at local rivals FK Rad. More than 5,000 fans turned up for a match that failed to spark into life, Milenko Acimovic's fourth-minute strike being cleared off the line in what was the best chance of the game for the visitors.
Sutjeska triumph
In Niksic, FK Sutjeska proved too strong for FK Hajduk Kula, running out 3-1 winners to move level on points with their opponents. Milan Tanjevic broke the deadlock from close range after seven minutes and Darko Krsteski struck from a 37th-minute free-kick to give his side some breathing space. Hajduk failed to reply until the 86th minute when Uros Stamatovic fired home from the edge of the area but the home side's nerves evaporated when Krsteski sealed the win in added time with a shot from distance.
Zeta earn a draw
Dejan Batrovic's late free-kick earned FK Zeta a 1-1 draw at OFK Beograd after Srdjan Stanic had put the hosts in the driving seat with a close-range opener in the 57th minute. Elsewhere, Sasa Djuricic's 45th-minute tap-in gave FK Radnicki Kragujevac the points at home to FK Mladost Lucani, while in Novi Sad, FK Vojvodina went down to Mihajlo Vujacic's 56th-minute effort for FK Zelenznik.
Mixed fortunes for Cermelj
FK Sartid also suffered a 1-0 home defeat against FK Cukaricki, Nenad Cermelj netting the winner three minutes into the second half with a smart free-kick, but his afternoon ended badly when he received a red card just seven minutes later.
