FK Partizan extended their lead at the top with a 3-0 victory over FK Hajduk Kula on Wednesday.

FK Partizan extended their lead at the top of the Yugoslavian Prva Savezna Liga with an emphatic 3-0 home victory over FK Hajduk Kula on Wednesday.

Firmly on course
Partizan are firmly on course to beat champions FK Crvena Zvezda, who were not in action, to the title after opening up a ten-point lead over their arch-rivals.

Trobok on target
Goran Trobok reacted quickest to score the opener from close range after 22 minutes and Vladimir Ivic doubled Partizan's lead five minutes after half-time, dusting himself down after being brought down in the box to stroke home the penalty. Sasa Ilic capped a fine performance from the home side with a goal in the last minute.

New coach
FK Obilic, whose coach Ratko Dostanic resigned on Monday, earned a 2-2 home draw against FK Zeta. New coach Goran Vasilijevic saw his team take the lead in the tenth minute when Adrijan Djokaj converted a penalty won by Nenad Mladenovic.

Red cards
Zeta scored two penalties of their own through Dragan Maras in the 33rd and 43rd minutes to go 2-1 up. Obilic were then handed the advantage after Zeta were reduced to nine men, with Vladan Vasic and Dusan Radojevic sent off. The home side equalised four minutes from time, as substitute Milan Pejcic made the most of his opportunity.

Zivkovic double
FK Zvezdara eased their relegation worries after picking up their first win of the spring season with a surprise 3-2 home success against sixth-placed FK Zeleznik. Two goals from Dejan Zivkovic gave Zvezdara, who threatened to pull out of the league due to financial problems earlier this month, a 2-0 half-time lead.

Stamenkovic winner
Zeleznik fought back, however, with strikes from Nenad Nastic (49) and Aleksandar Stajkovac (71) levelling the match. Zvezdara were not to be denied the points though and Goran Stamenkovic's goal seven minutes from time earned the home side three precious points which moves them up one place to 14th.

Bogdanovic the hero
In Smederevo, FK Sartid moved up to fourth with a 2-1 home win over FK Rad in a match that saw 13 yellow cards brandished. Sladjan Nikolic (38) gave Rad the lead but second-half goals from Nenad Mirosavljevic (46) and Goran Bogdanovic (67) earned the hosts' all three points.

OFK in charge
In Wednesday's other matches, OFK Beograd beat FK Cukaricki 3-0 at home. FK Zemun heaped more woe on second-bottom FK Radnicki Kragujevac by beating them 4-1 in front of their own fans, while FK Mladost Lucani defeated bottom club Mladost Apatin 1-0 and FK Sutjeska edged FK Rudar Plelja 1-0 in the Montenegro derby.
