EEAB workshop to take place in Minsk

UEFA's Eastern European Assistance Bureau (EEAB) will hold its fourth bi-annual workshop on assistance programmes in Minsk in Belarus on 20 March.

13 associations to meet
The workshop will bring together the presidents and general secretaries of the 13 member associations that are involved in EEAB programmes, and will be preceded by a UEFA Assistance Programmes Committee meeting on 19 March.

Workshop to be held in Minsk
The workshop in Minsk, which follows previous meetings in Riga, Chisinau and Baku, will focus on discussing options for more extensive cooperation between UEFA and the national associations involved in assistance programmes. Other items on the workshop agenda include an analysis of ongoing projects and the EEAB’s announcement of the results of the organisational audit of the 13 participating national associations performed by Ernst & Young

Johansson and Aigner to attend
On 19 March, attention is given to the UEFA Assistance Programmes Committee. The meeting will concentrate on a review of ongoing assistance projects as well as approving new initiatives. UEFA President Lennart Johansson and UEFA Chief Executive Gerhard Aigner will be among the attendees at the Minsk Republican Palace for the meeting.

Assistance programmes
The EEAB was established in 1994, and is coordinating assistance programmes for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania and F.Y.R. Macedonia.
