Two-year deal
FC Neman-Belcard Grodno left-winger Alexei Suchkov, 20, has moved to Krylya Sovetov Samara on a two-year deal while FC Slavia Mozyr midfield player Artur Matveichik, 27, has switched to FC Sokol Saratov.
U-21 international
Suchkov is rated as one of his country’s best young prospects having inspired unfashionable Neman to a fourth-place finish in 2001. He is a Belarussian Under-21 international and, in Krylya, is joining a team that also had a successful season last time around, finishing fifth.
League and cup double
Matveichik spent four seasons at Mozyr, helping the club to the Belarussian first division title and a cup victory in 2000. Mozyr have decided to cash in on some of their leading players ahead of the new season, with Matveichik becoming the first to leave the club.
