Article body
Joseph-Desire Job has completed a loan move from Middlesbrough FC to FC Metz. The Cameroonian international will play for the French first division side until the end of the season, although the arrangement may then be extended further.
'Mentally tough'
The 24-year-old, who has struggled to earn a regular place in the Middlesbrough side since arriving from RC Lens last August, told Metz's official website: "It is true that I have not played that much in England this season. It was mentally tough. Inevitably I miss the competition, but my drive and desire for playing will return very quickly."
First opponents
Job almost signed for Metz from Olympique Lyonnais in 1999, but instead joined Lens, who are set to be his first opponents when the season resumes next month.
