Grassroots event staged as part of UEFA’s Football in Schools programme

The UEFA Executive Committee will hold its next meeting on the island of Hvar in Croatia on Tuesday 20 September 2022 from 14:00 to 17:00 CEST. The meeting will take place in the historic Arsenal building in the town of Hvar (Obala, Riva 1, 21450, Hvar).

The main points on the agenda are:

• UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying draw procedure

• 2022/23 UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship – appointment of hosts

• Updates from various UEFA Committees

Earlier in the day, starting at 09:00, a grassroots event will be staged on NK Hvar’s football pitch as part of UEFA’s Football in Schools programme, with the participation of local school children, as well as UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin and former football legends.

A press conference, attended by the UEFA President, is scheduled to take place following the conclusion of the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in the Arsenal building.
