Article body
Serie A city rivals Milan AC and Internazionale FC have finally agreed terms for a swap deal involving Dutch player Clarence Seedorf and Italian international defender Francesco Coco.
Personal terms delay
Seedorf has only to undergo a medical before signing for Milan from Inter on a three-year deal, with Coco moving the other way in a deal estimated to be worth €28m. The clubs agreed the transfers in principle last week, but there was a delay in the confirmation of Seedorf's personal terms.
Loan spell
Coco returned to Milan this summer after a loan spell with FC Barcelona, and is currently at Korea/Japan with the Italian FIFA World Cup squad. A product of Milan's youth system, Coco decided to leave the club last September after a row with then coach Fatih Terim, moving to the Spanish club for the rest of 2001/02.
Honours for Seedorf
Before joining Inter three years ago, Seedorf had spells with AFC Ajax, Sampdoria UC and Real Madrid CF, winning two Dutch and one Spanish league titles, two UEFA Champions League trophies, one European/South American Cup, as well as various national cups. He has 59 international caps for the Netherlands, scoring ten goals.
