Sevilla FC striker Luís Fabiano has rejoined his former club São Paulo FC in a four-year deal worth €7.6m.
Currently out of action with a knee injury, the Brazilian international signed for Sevilla from FC Porto in summer 2005 and struck 106 goals for the Andalusian club in all competitions. Most notably, he helped them lift the UEFA Cup in 2006 and 2007, as well as the Copa del Rey in 2007 and 2010.
"I owe everything I have to São Paulo and will make sure that I sweat a lot for their shirt and score lots of goals," explained the 30-year-old, who hit 61 goals in 85 league outings for São Paulo between 2002 and 2004. "For some time now, I've been imagining myself coming out of the tunnel onto the pitch at the Estádio do Morumbi and seeing all our wonderful fans."
