Galatasaray AŞ have signed goalkeeper Róbinson Zapata, forward Bogdan Stancu and midfielder Yekta Kurtuluş ahead of the resumption of the Turkish Super League.
The Istanbul club are ninth, 19 points behind leaders Trabzonspor AŞ, and end their league winter break on Sunday against Sivasspor at their new home stadium. Both Zapata, 32, and 23-year-old Stancu join from FC Steaua Bucureşti, with the Colombian keeper agreeing an 18-month contract and the Romanian international's deal running until summer 2015, his move following a haul of 13 goals in 18 league games this season.
Kurtuluş, 24, transfers from the Super League's bottom side Kasımpaşa SK for an undisclosed fee and like Stancu has signed a four-and-a-half year contract. His impressive form for the struggling club earned Kurtuluş a Turkish international debut against the Netherlands in November. Galatasaray previously signed Argentinian midfielder Juan Culio for €2m from CFR 1907 Cluj earlier this month.
