Chelsea FC are aiming to make the UEFA Champions League semi-finals for the third successive season tonight as they defend a 3-1 first-leg lead against Liverpool FC and, as a survivor of the London club's last two campaigns, Salomon Kalou could be important to their bid.
Cluj strike
The 23-year-old Ivory Coast international, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Feyenoord in 2006, has already made his mark on Chelsea's bid for European glory this term by scoring in their 2-1 home victory against CFR 1907 Cluj in the group stage. He needed to show a deft touch to make the most of that chance, and now you can catch the player's own guide to controlling the ball in an exclusive masterclass on the UEFA Training Ground.
Star skills
In the second of a two-part Star Skills session, following on from his look at controlling the ball from low passes using your chest, thigh and feet, this week the forward runs through the do's and don'ts of taking high balls with the inside and outside of the boot as well as the head. Kalou does all of this with the help of the Training Ground's resident skills expert Paul 'Woody' Wood. Click here to see the video now.
