The 25-year-old scored two goals in 13 games for the French club last season as they narrowly escaped relegation from Ligue 1. He returns to the Romanian capital having played for Dinamo's rivals AFC Rapid Bucuresti until September 2003.
UEFA Cup chance
Bratu subsequently transferred to Galatasaray SK in Turkey before moving to Nantes in 2004/05. He has scored twice in nine appearances for Romania, and will have a chance of UEFA Cup football after Dinamo finished second in Divizia A last term.
Craiova haul
Dinamo began preparations for the UEFA Cup by signing five players from relegated FC Universitatea Craiova - Romanian international midfielder Mihaita Plesan, Bosnia-Herzegovina goalkeeper Alen Guso, Ivorian defender Mariko Daouda, Romania Under-21 defender Cosmin Moti and midfielder Ilie Iordache.
