Portuguese Under-21 international Moreira has extended his contract with SL Benfica until 2010.
'Quick agreement'
The 22-year-old goalkeeper's current deal with the club was due to expire in 2006, but the Portuguese side's official website announced the player was keen to renew his contract and the two parties reached what was described as a "quick agreement."
First-choice goalkeeper
Moreira made his first-team debut in a pre-season friendly in July 2000, and established himself in the side following Robert Enke's transfer to FC Barcelona. He has made 30 league appearances this season, helping Benfica to the UEFA Cup fourth round and third position in the Portuguese Superliga.
