Title clincher
Loskov beat PFC CSKA Moskva midfield players Sergei Semak and Rolan Gusev to the award. Last month the playmaker scored the only goal as Lokomotiv defeated CSKA in a play-off to clinch the Russian Premier League title.

Meanwhile, Lokomotiv's Yuri Semin was voted best coach following his success in guiding the railway club to the first national championship in their 67-year history. Lokomotiv had finished the league season level on points with CSKA but saw off their city rivals in the so-called 'golden' match.
