Rushed to hospital
The forward was in Kusadasi for Ramadan and was on his way to Denizli for a 14.00CET training session when his car crashed into the central reservation. He was taken to Nazilli State Hospital for treatment where, despite the valiant efforts of medical staff, he passed away on Monday.

Cup goal
Only last week, Dogan Seyfi scored the goal which sealed a 2-1 Turkish Cup victory over 1. Lig champions Fenerbahçe SK in Istanbul. The talented striker moved to Denizlispor prior to the 2000/01 season from third division Edirnespor, where he scored 21 goals in 29 matches.
