Short-term contract
The 33-year-old right-sided midfield player has agreed a six-month deal after spending the last month training with the club. Novak, who appeared in all Slovenia's games at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, links up with his former international coach Srecko Katanec in the Greek capital.
Free transfer
Novak has been a free agent since the summer, when he was released by German club SpVgg Unterhaching following their relegation to the third division. He previously played for NK Olimpija Ljubljana, FK Partizan, French sides Le Havre AC and CS Sedan-Ardennes, and Fenerbahçe SK in Turkey.
