Successful career
Hašek, 45, who enjoyed a successful career with, among others, AC Sparta Praha and RC Strasbourg, and who numbers Sparta, Strasbourg and AS Saint-Etienne among his coaching posts, received the majority of votes from delegates from the Czech and Moravian chambers. Hašek made 56 appearances for the Czech national team.
