This is the 30-year-old's second spell abroad, after two years in Germany with VfB Stuttgart from 1998-2000. Markovic, who has signed an 18-month deal, said: "MTK are a great club with a realistic chance of becoming Hungarian champions this year and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League."
