CEDB decision on futsal national team of Albania

In view of the confirmation by the Albanian Football Association of not being able to travel to Ukraine, the 2020-22 UEFA European Futsal Championship match Ukraine vs. Albania, scheduled to be played on 11 April 2021 in Ukraine, could not be played.

The matter was submitted to the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body for a decision.

Decision:
The Chairman of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body took the following decision:
- to declare the 2020-22 UEFA European Futsal Championship match between the national futsal teams of Ukraine and Albania, that was scheduled to be played on 11 April 2021, as forfeited by the Albanian Football Association (who is therefore deemed to have lost the match 5-0) for being responsible for the match not taking place (as provided for in Article 28.01 of the Regulations of the UEFA European Futsal Championship 2020-22).
