CEDB decisions potentially affecting the attendance of supporters at UEFA matches

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has taken the following decisions some of which could potentially affect the attendance of supporters at UEFA matches:

Match: RC Lens (FRA) – PSV Eindhoven (NED), 25 October 2023 UEFA Champions League 2023/2024

PSV Eindhoven

• To ban PSV Eindhoven from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next (1) UEFA competition match and to fine PSV Eindhoven €25,000 for lighting of fireworks, throwing of objects and acts of damage. The ban from selling tickets to its away supporters is suspended during a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

• To order PSV Eindhoven to contact RC Lens within 30 days for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters.

Match: Paris Saint-Germain (FRA) – AC Milan (ITA), 25 October 2023 UEFA Champions League 2023/2024

Paris Saint-Germain

• To order the partial closure of Paris Saint-Germain’s stadium (i.e. the entire Tribune Auteuil, upper and lower sectors) during the next UEFA competition match in which Paris Saint-Germain plays as host club and to fine Paris Saint-Germain €75,000 for lighting of fireworks. Said partial stadium closure is suspended during a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

• To fine Paris Saint-Germain €18,000 for blocking of public passageways.

• To fine Paris Saint-Germain €5,000 for the invasion of the field of play.

Match: Royal Antwerp FC (BEL) – FC Porto (POR), 25 October 2023 UEFA Champions League 2023/2024

Royal Antwerp FC

• To fine Royal Antwerp FC €20,000 and to order the partial stadium closure of Royal Antwerp FC’s stadium during the next one (1) UEFA competition match in which the club will play as a host club for crowd disturbances. Royal Antwerp FC must inform UEFA, prior to the match, of the sectors to be closed, which shall consist of at least 3,000 seats. Said partial stadium closure is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

Match: KRC Genk (BEL) – Ferencvárosi TC (HUN), 26 October 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League 2023/2024

KRC Genk

• To fine KRC Genk €20,000 and to order the partial closure of KRC Genk’s stadium (i.e. first tier of the South stand) during the next one (1) UEFA competition match in which KRC Genk will play as a host club for lighting of fireworks. Said partial stadium closure is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

• To suspend KRC Genk player, Mr. Emmanuel Arokodare Toluwalase, for a total of one (1) UEFA club competition match for which he would otherwise be eligible, for rough play.

Match: AS Roma (ITA) – SK Slavia Praha (CZE), 26 October 2023 UEFA Europa League 2023/2024

SK Slavia Praha

• To ban SK Slavia Praha from selling tickets to its away supporters for its next (1) UEFA competition match and to fine SK Slavia Praha €20,000 for crowd disturbances, lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects. The ban from selling tickets to its away supporters is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

Match: HŠK Zrinjski (BIH) - Legia Warszawa (POL), 26 October 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League 2023/2024

HŠK Zrinjski

• To order HŠK Zrinjski to play its next (1) UEFA competition match it will play as home club behind closed doors, for the racist behaviour of its supporters, lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects. Said order to play its next match behind closed doors is suspended during a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

• To fine HŠK Zrinjski €10,000 for its failure to adequately screen and/or search spectators.

Match: Olympiacos FC (GRE) - West Ham United FC (ENG), 26 October 2023 UEFA Europa League 2023/2024

Olympiacos FC

• To fine Olympiacos FC €10,000 and to order the partial closure of Olympiacos FC’s stadium, which shall consist of at least 5,000 seats, during the next match in which it plays as host club, for the racist behaviour of its supporters. Said partial stadium closure is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

• To fine Olympiacos FC €7,000 for the improper conduct of its team.

• To fine Olympiacos FC €4,000 for the invasion of the field of play.

Note to media: Disciplinary measures under a probationary period are not immediately effective but may be enforced if “a further offence of a similar nature is committed during the probationary period” (cf. Article 26(3) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations).
