On 19 July 2019, after determining that Fenerbahçe (TUR) failed to comply with a break-even target of the reporting period ending in 2018 as required by the Settlement Agreement entered into on 20 May 2016, the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) Adjudicatory Chamber sanctioned Fenerbahçe. A part of that sanction included a conditional withholding of revenues from UEFA competitions of two million Euro (€2,000,000) during the two seasons (i.e. the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons).
The withholding of revenues would be reduced to one million Euro (€1,000,000) provided that the club was able to prove, by 15 October 2019, that it had fulfilled conditions, including with respect to restructuring its debt.
The CFCB Adjudicatory Chamber has now determined that Fenerbahçe failed to comply with this condition.
As a result, the CFCB Adjudicatory Chamber has ordered the withholding of revenues from UEFA competitions to Fenerbahçe of two million Euro (€2,000,000) during the two seasons (i.e. the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons).
