• Located in the Bezigrad district in the north of Ljubljana, Arena Stožice opened on 10 August 2010 with a basketball match between Slovenia and Spain.
• It is in the same Stožice sports park as Slovenia's national football stadium.
• As well as futsal and basketball, the venue has hosted handball, volleyball, ice hockey, boxing, motocross and concerts by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Elton John and Bob Dylan.
• It is the home of basketball's KK Olimpija and volleyball's ACH Volley, in addition to the Slovenian national team in both sports.
• Arena Stožice was a venue for basketball's 2012 FIBA European Under-20 Championship and EuroBasket 2013.
